ELIMINATE PROJECTA baby dies from MNT every 9 minutes. $1.80 saves a baby.
All across the globe, tens of thousands of babies are caught with the disease, Maternal Neonatal Tetanus (MNT). This painful and deadly disease can be found in infected soils and can pass through cuts of a baby or a mother. A newborn with MNT suffers from sensitivity to light, touch and sound and cannot be held by their mothers. Key Club supports the ELIMINATE Project in the hopes of eliminating MNT from countries in need of health care support. As Key Clubbers, we can help through raising awareness and funds to provide for vaccinations and overseas campaigns. A simple donation of $1.80 can pay for 3 vaccines that will protect a mother and her future babies from Maternal Neonatal Tetanus. LEARN MORE HERE |
